Pierre-Olivier Bannwarth est conteur. Après des études de Lettres Modernes, il entre au Cours Florent puis participe à la création d'événements culturels en Afrique de l'Ouest. À Paris, il rencontre de grandes personnalités du théâtre puis se forme au conte auprès d’Henri Gougaud. Ses premiers ouvrages sont publiés aux éditions Albin Michel.
